New In Version 6! Enhanced Audit Trail...
A couple of days ago our V.P of Business Development came to me with a question. He was pretty sure that some of the data in one of our customer files had changed however no one on his team had recalled making the change, so asked me if we kept track of the changes in the system.
Yes we do, and we significantly enhanced it in Version 6. Interprise Suite has always had an audit trail in the system manager that let you know who changed a particular transaction / entity file and the date and time of the change. What it did not do was tell you "field by field" what changes they made – so we added this in version 6.
In version 6 we have added a new “detail” tab to the audit trail form that gives you all the information you need to know. In the example below, the admin user went into the customer form and changed the address and telephone numbers. Not only does it tell you that these values had changed – but also what they were changed from (old value) and changed to (new value).
